Rubbish Removal in Kooyong
Kooyong is a tightly held suburb and the jobs here reflect that. Properties around the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club on Glenferrie Road tend to be large, long-owned and well-stocked, so when a renovation, a downsize or an estate clearance finally happens, it is rarely a small job. Access can be specific on some of the longer private driveways, and we make sure to check in advance rather than turn up with the wrong setup. We are Prahran-based, well under 20 minutes away, and you always deal with a reliable local team that turns up when it says it will.
Glenferrie Road is a tram and clearway road, so we plan our loading around the peak. The suburb is small and hemmed in by the Monash Freeway and the creek, so there’s only a limited set of streets to get in and out. Around the tennis club it can clog up on event days, and the bigger homes may have long driveways. We pick our timing, take the access slow, and carry by hand where the truck can’t get close.
We handle the full range of household and commercial rubbish in Kooyong: furniture, whitegoods, mattresses, e-waste, renovation debris, garage clear-outs and full estate clearances. We do all the lifting and loading, leave the site clean, and sort materials for recycling wherever possible. No skips required, no tip runs for you.
Since 2008 we have diverted over 320,000 kg from landfill through our Prahran-based recycling and donation partnerships. Every Kooyong job includes sorting metals, timber, e-waste and reusable items to the right facilities, ensuring your clearout is handled as responsibly as possible.

Rob and his colleague were efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced against all other removal providers. He was prompt to quote, organise a day and removed the items I needed gone. Highly recommend It’s Done Rubbish Removal! Thanks Rob & Mooch for the help. Nabi

Robert’s service is excellent and he is a very professional and polite person. He found old photos and memorabilia when clearing out furniture from our vacant house and saved them for us, otherwise they would have been thrown out. I definitely recommend him.

Robert and his team did a magnificent job clearing a crowded house and five crowded sheds. Not an inch spared in any of the truck loads! Robert is a total professional and a pleasure to deal with. Note – just had Robert and the team complete another rubbish removal. This time all the waste from bathroom renovations. Same excellent service from start to finish. Very pleased.
Rob runs It’s Done out of Prahran, about 15 minutes from Kooyong, so you always deal with a local team that turns up when it says it will. (03) 9820 1927.
Hard Rubbish Collection in Kooyong
City of Stonnington
Kooyong sits within the City of Stonnington, which provides two scheduled hard waste collections per household each year, one in autumn and one in spring. Enter your address on the Stonnington council website to find your street’s dates. Individual items must weigh under 20 kg and the total volume cannot exceed five cubic metres. Properties on main roads and larger apartment buildings need to arrange a separate booking through the council, available only during the standard autumn and spring windows. For planned clearouts where you can work around the schedule, the council service is a solid free option. If you need rubbish removed sooner, or your load falls outside the accepted items or size limits, It’s Done is available when you need us.
Can’t wait for the council collection?
Stonnington’s hard waste schedule is set twice a year. It’s Done removes rubbish in Kooyong when you call, so you do not have to plan your renovation or cleanout around fixed council dates.
