Old steel racking, scrap metal and rusty frames are heavy and awkward, but almost all of it can be recycled. It’s Done is a Prahran-based, family-run crew, and we clear metal and steel waste across Melbourne’s inner south and east, Monday to Friday. Most jobs are done in a single visit.
You don’t need to cut it up or haul it out. We break down racking and shelving, load the scrap by hand and bring the right truck for the weight, then sweep up. From a few lengths of racking to a full warehouse of steel.
Nearly all metal is recyclable, so very little needs to go to landfill. We take it to scrap-metal recyclers to be melted down and reused. You get a fixed, upfront price before we start.

If it’s metal, we’ll clear it. The usual stuff:

We turn up at a time that suits you, Monday to Friday or weekends by arrangement, break down any racking and shelving, and load the metal by hand, bringing the right truck for the weight.
