It’s Done is a Prahran-based, family-run crew, and we pick up old mattresses, bed bases and frames across Melbourne’s inner south and east, Monday to Friday. Most jobs are done in a single visit.
You don’t need to drag it anywhere. We carry it down the stairs, out of the bedroom and into the truck, whether it’s one mattress or a houseful after a clear-out. No bending it into your car, no straining your back.
Mattresses are one of the most recyclable big items there is. The springs, foam, timber and fabric can all be separated and reused, so we send them to a mattress recycler instead of landfill wherever we can. You get a fixed, upfront price before we start.
What mattresses and beds we take
If you’re sleeping on it or storing it, we’ll take it. The usual ones:
Stained, sagging, broken or just old, it doesn’t matter what state it’s in. One mattress or ten, we’ll clear them. Everything gets sorted back at our yard, with as much as possible sent to a mattress recycler rather than landfill.

We turn up at a time that suits you, Monday to Friday or weekends by arrangement, with the crew to do the whole lift. We carry the mattress and base down the stairs and out of the bedroom, so you don’t lift a thing.

Once it’s loaded we sweep up and you pay the price we quoted, nothing more. Back at the yard we send the mattresses to a recycler so the springs, foam and timber are reused, not dumped.
