Rubbish Removal in East Melbourne
We do a fair bit of rubbish removal in East Melbourne, and the work here has a character of its own. The grand Victorian terraces and heritage mansion blocks along Clarendon, Powlett and Simpson streets were built to last, and they have been holding on to things just as long. Access is a consistent consideration: most of the terrace homes have tight front paths, no rear lane, and often no driveway at all, so we hand-carry items to the street and use a vehicle that fits the approach. Deceased estate clearances from the larger terrace properties are a regular call, as is post-renovation rubble when owners update interiors without touching the heritage shell. For apartment buildings near Wellington Parade, office fitout waste is common. We’re Prahran-based, about 12 minutes away, and you always deal with a reliable local team that turns up when it says it will.
Parking takes some planning here. The suburb is ringed by tram arterials on Victoria Parade, Wellington Parade and Spring Street, so we work out the truck spot before we turn up. The residential streets are wide but metered or permit-only. On event days the MCG and Melbourne Park precinct cause heavy congestion and parking lockdowns, so we plan the run around them. With the heritage mansions and period blocks we lay down protection and carry by hand. We do these jobs every week, so none of it slows us down.
We handle the full range of household, office and commercial rubbish in East Melbourne: furniture, whitegoods, mattresses, e-waste, renovation rubble, garage clear-outs and deceased estate cleanups. The crew does all the lifting and loading, sweeps up afterwards, and sorts for recycling wherever possible. No skips, no trip to the tip.
Since 2008 we have diverted over 320,000 kg from landfill through our Prahran-based recycling and donation partnerships. Metals, timber, e-waste and reusable furniture from East Melbourne clearouts are sorted and directed to the right facilities rather than to landfill.

Robert and his team completed some rubbish removal at a rental property I manage. He arrived on time (the next day!), completed all rubbish removal and charged a reasonable amount. He was very professional and offered a great service 🙂
